WWE 2K20 will feature key gameplay improvements, streamlined controls, and the most fun and creatively expansive entry in the franchise to date. WWE 2K20 will also feature a brand-new 2K Showcase focused on the story of the Four Horsewomen/Women’s Evolution, the return of 2K Towers, including a story-driven tower based on the career of Roman Reigns an all-new MyCAREER that prominently features both male and female playable characters, and Mixed Tag Matches featuring male and female competitors.

The Game Controls in WWE 2K20 have been revamped, to allow new players to jump into the game more easily, while still offering experienced players full control over the attacks they want to initiate. 2K has stated that the new Control Scheme in WWE 2K20 reduces the likelihood that a player will perform the wrong action.

One of the biggest changes in the control system revolves around Reversals. The Reversal button is now triangle / Y, while performing Signature / Finishers now requires to press the Strike + Grapple buttons at the same time.

Interaction is now on separate buttons in WWE 2K20, making it easier to perform the intended action. In another change to the controller layout, you no longer need to grab opponents in a Front Face-lock to do a standing quit – you can walk right up to them and apply the hold.
